The Importance of Belt and Road
The One Belt One Road Initiative (BRI) has demonstrated China’s capacity to offer real input and action to the world of politics, peacemaking, investment and thought. While still making noble progress in realizing the first stage of socialist development, China has demonstrated external capacity and leadership beyond all expectations. Nowhere is this clearer than in the United Arab Emirates, where the great friendship between China and the UAE has been cemented with the mutual visits of President Xi to Sultan Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nayhan and Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum in the UAE, and with the visit of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to China. The mutual 99-year visions of the nations ensure long term co-operation, which is yielding immediate and measurable results in terms of construction, development and international diplomacy.

The Belt and Road Research Center serves as the central hub in the Middle East for developing understanding of culture, history, management, economics, politics, security, science and information technology. The BRRC goes beyond merely publishing papers and generating knowledge. We ensure that we see through the implementation of that knowledge in projects and ventures throughout the Middle East and throughout the world.
